Intro to Strings and Band Night

The Darien Music Program will hold its annual Introduction to Strings and Band on Tuesday, June 3^rd at 7:00 pm at Middlesex Middle School. All interested students must be accompanied by a parent.

Second-grade families are invited to attend the INTRODUCTION TO STRINGS in the Middlesex Middle School Auditorium. This evening program will introduce the violin, viola, and cello to interested incoming third graders. Parents will receive information on the in-school lesson program and string rental procedures. The Third Grade String Program involves weekly half-hour lessons during the school day and two concerts a year.

Third and fourth grade families are invited to attend the INTRODUCTION TO BAND in the Middlesex Middle School Cafeteria. The program will introduce interested students to the band program, including an explanation of the lesson program, instrument demonstrations and sign-ups. The Beginner Band Program involves weekly half-hour lessons during the school day and two concerts a year.
